Mission & Belief Statement

Mission Statement

Saint Joseph Parish School is dedicated to Catholic faith formation and rigors leading to academic distinction. Assisting parents as primary educators of the children, the school calls forth the unique potential of the whole child, Kindergarten through Eighth Grade.

Belief Statement

  • We believe our Catholic School is not only a school, but a Community of Faith called to share our gifts in service to others.

  • We believe those entrusted to us are not only students but Children of God.

  • We believe the values we teach are not only character development, but a call to Holiness.

  • We believe our courses of study are not only academic pursuits but a search for knowledge guided by Christian values.

  • We believe we are not only educators but Ministers of the Gospel.

  • We believe education—through curriculum, instruction, and assessment—needs to accommodate differences in learning styles.

  • We believe all stakeholders share the responsibility for advancing the school’s mission.

  • We believe the purpose of education is to empower students to become socially conscious and positive contributors to their families, their communities and their world.

Saint Joseph Parish School has 459 students enrolled in Preschool through Grade 8 as of October 31, 2021.

Please note Saint Joseph Parish School's policy regarding background checks for teaching and non-teaching employees and for volunteers who have direct contact with students.
