On Friday, May 13th St. Joseph School will be holding its annual Positive Direction 3K/5K Best Foot Forward Challenge. This run will be the conclusion of the 2015-16 Positive Direction program.
At the beginning of this school year, 7th and 8th grade students were asked to come up with a slogan for this year’s program. The 7th and 8th grade students were then asked to design a t-shirt using one of the top 3 slogans. The winners were Emma Hoyt (7JJ) for t-shirt design and Amanda Pawlecki (7U) for the slogan/theme.
T-shirts were then ordered and given to the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students to wear to each of the monthly speakers, as well as during Positive Direction Week and especially the 3K/5K Challenge.
On Friday, May 13th the 7th and 8th grade students will participate in the 3K/5K Challenge. This event will be supported and cheered on by the entire school, parents, grandparents, etc. All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students as well as many faculty members will be wearing their Positive Direction t-shirts to this event.
These t-shirts are now available to purchase for siblings, parents, grandparents, friends, aunts, uncles, etc. There is a picture of the winning t-shirt on the bottom right of this order form. The t-shirt will also be on display in the West Campus school office and in the Commons area in the Middle School. (The t-shirt is white; print is blue and black.)
If you would care to purchase a t-shirt(s), please complete and return this order form with your check made payable to St. Joseph Positive Direction. The price per t-shirt is $10. You will receive your t-shirt(s) prior to the Positive Direction 3K/5K Best Foot Forward Challenge and students may wear them to school on Friday, May 13th to show their support of the run.
Please remember: You do not need to purchase a t-shirt for your middle school student. The 6th, 7th and 8th grade students received their t-shirts in October.
T-shirt orders are due on or before April 8, 2016. Please make checks payable to St. Joseph Positive Direction.
