Interesting fact:  I was married here at St. Joseph Church, in 1991.  As a child, my wife was actually a student here at St Joseph school. 

 Personal:  I want to encourage students to be physically active in all aspects of life and to be positive as well as healthy. I hope all students, no matter what their experience, will always try an activity with the attitude of doing their best.

“I loved working at the MET Museum (Metropolitan Museum of Art) in New York City. I wanted to become an artist, but instead became fascinated with the history behind every painting and guided many tourists from all over the world, including 21 Spanish speaking countries. I also was part of the Ballet Folklorico Dominincano de Nueva York, a none-profit organization. I had the opportunity to dance at many cultural events an embrace my culture while dancing MERENGUE.”

Interesting Fact About Mrs. Mallory:
“I went on a medical mission trip in December to Guatemala with a group called SewHope. My husband  traveled with me. He and my three oldest children volunteered about 1 ½ years ago. I have held a few positions such as working at University Hospitals in Cleveland and Toledo Hospital. I taught at BGSU for nine years before deciding to become a middle school to high school teacher. I took classes at Lourdes University to be able to apply for a teaching license. St. Joseph School, is where I was meant to be.”

Most Valuable Continuing Education Experience: Completed Multisensory Structured Language Education certification process in 2011.  This was a year-long pursuit which included 45 classroom hours and 100 hours practicum.  This certification allows Mrs. Zychowicz to work with children who have Dyslexia and to help them become more successful with reading and language.

Interesting Fact About Mrs. Zychowicz:  “I wasn’t always a teacher.  I used to work in property management.   It was while working with Mrs. Jane Wagner (former 1st grade teacher at St. Joseph) that I was inspired to become a teacher.   I went back to school to earn my Education degree and love being in the classroom!  I’ll be forever grateful to Mrs. Wagner and Mrs. Koppinger for helping me discover my calling!”
