Mrs. Kulka

Language Arts and Math Teacher

Education: Bachelor’s in Education (K-8) - Bowling Green State University

Mrs. Kulka began her journey at Saint Joseph in 1990 as a "near full time" substitute for about 5 years.  In 1995 along with Mrs. Sally Koppinger, former Principal, she designed and implemented the teaching assistant position to serve the nearly 800 students that were enrolled at the time.  From 1995 through 1998 she enjoyed her experience working beside the teachers of first, second, and third grade.  In 1998 she joined Mrs. Steirer as a 6th grade teaching partner.  They enjoyed 21 years of service together. During that time her own four children were faithfully guided by the loving teachers at Saint Joseph; two of those children went on to become educators and now administrators of their own schools.

When she is not with her students she always looks forward to time with her own children and grandchildren!

Why Mrs. Kulka loves Saint Joseph and teaching:

"Saint Joseph has been a substantial part of my life for nearly 30 years.  From Faith formation to CRHP (Christ Renews His Parish) to loving the ability to teach and touch lives on a daily basis, I am BLESSED!"
